“I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.” – Walt Whitman
Been gone a while, life finally caught up to me after the moist air of summer faded into the crisp air of fall and now icing wind of winter. I have been doing a lot of thinking while taking a long break from reality…almost too long.
I wanted to do a more meaningful post this time. New posts are on their way but first I wanted to share one from fall of 2015.
My mom developed breast cancer and has been going through a tough time so I have been absent from my creative side. There have been many obstacles last year that I had to face and fashion has helped me get through it all.
Recently having gone through a breakup I decided a change was way overdue. So I cut my hair off, dyed it bleach blonde and even got my nose pierced. It was a total metamorphosis for me and I haven’t been this happy in a while, all alone with no guy to depend on for happiness (:
I have been experimenting with new makeup and hair styles and have really enjoyed this new peaceful side of me (that cares a little less about what people think of me). Anyway, this look was inspired by the tones and hues of Fall. The half bun has been a huge trend this year and to be honest I love the way it looks and opens up ones face. Be ready for tons of posts incorporating fall and winter fashion, as I have finally woken up from what seems like a year of sleep.
Trend Find: Shark teeth.
Trend Find #2: High top Vans.
Let your mind escape to its paradise. And never overthink things.
